✔️ A community of trustworthy young people: The profiles of the young people are selected and validated before they contact you about your listings, via Colette's private platform.
📝 Administrative assistance and regulated legal framework: Colette assists you in creating your host profile and the content of your listing after discussing it with you. Cohabitations are also regulated. Colette provides you with a contract that is edited for each of your reservations, available directly from your host profile. This contract is accompanied by an intergenerational cohabitation charter that is made available to you to define the rules of your cohabitation.
🛠️ Insurance partnership in the event of material damage: AXA covers material damage caused by the tenant, starting from a threshold of €200. Below this threshold, the compensation is the responsibility of the young person.
💸 Secure monthly rent payments: Colette monitors and manages the payment of your rents to avoid any money issues in cohabitations. We use Stripe, a globally renowned secure online payment platform, to transfer the rents to you.
🎁 Tax-exempt income: In the context of intergenerational cohabitation, you can rent out your room up to a certain amount that will be tax-exempt, provided it is your main residence. The team can advise you when creating your listing and its price.

Colette's commissions :If you are a host in Paris or the Ile-de-France region : We take a 15% commission on the rent, which is visible on the price displayed on your ad.
If you are a host in another city: Colette takes 50% of the first month's rent. You therefore receive your first month's rent, less the 50% fee for the first month only. Then the full price of your room for the remaining rental period, without any commission.
