Here are the steps to follow to become a tenant at Colette:
💻 Registration on the platform
You must first register as a tenant looking for a room.

Be sure to complete the registration process until the very last step so that we can process your request properly.
👌🏼 Complete the registration 100%
To access all the room listings, it is imperative that the young person's profile is 100% complete. If this is not the case, we invite you to visit our website again and log in to your Colette account. Once logged in, you will need to provide the required documents, including an ID, a certificate of enrollment or employment, and a VISA if the applicant is a foreigner.
One last thing, you will need to make a short introduction video, which will then be sent to the hosts.
📩 Access to the platform and connection
You can send reservation requests directly to the hosts on the listings of your choice.
These are initially requests for connection. You can send a maximum of 5 at a time.
A little tip 👍🏻 : Don't hesitate to describe yourself well, your lifestyle, and your expectations for cohabitation to maximize the chances of a response from the hosts.
If the host accepts the connection request, you can communicate together. Your contact information will be provided. You can also plan a visit to the accommodation or a video call. Here is a quick guide for your exchanges.
🤝 Meeting with the hosts and reservation
If you like the accommodation and the host, you can send a reservation request. Once the request is accepted by the host, you can confirm the room reservation by paying the first month's rent from your account. 💸
👉 Your reservation is not valid until you have paid your first month's rent. Here is a quick guide for making a reservation.
📝 Lease agreement
You can sign the lease agreement with your host, and the cohabitation can begin! The contract can be downloaded directly from the reservation on your Colette account. Everyone is invited to sign it and keep a copy.
🗃️ Follow-up on requests
If a housing option no longer suits you or if you have found what you're looking for elsewhere, please remember to cancel all your ongoing requests so as not to block the listings.
