If you have accepted the APL (Aide Personnalisée au Logement) allowance when publishing your room on our platform, your young tenant will be able to apply for housing assistance (APL) from the CAF (Caisse d'Allocations Familiales).
Rest assured that the CAF is a separate entity from the tax center, so your young tenant's APL request will not have any impact on your taxes.
As a host, you will be asked to:
Sign a rent certificate (which may already be pre-filled by your tenant)
Log in to your landlord account as a host to confirm the information provided by your tenant to the CAF
