What is Stripe?
At Colette, all payments go through a secure platform called Stripe. It is a trusted third-party partner with whom we work because we believe that each actor has its area of expertise.
As a host, you have a Stripe account through which all rents pass.
How to activate your Stripe account?
Attention, your bank account information must be registered on your Stripe account in order to receive the rents!
If this is not the case, please log in to your Colette account.
Then, click on the "My Account" tab at the top right and then "Payment."
Finally, click on "Connect to the billing profile" to access your Stripe account.
Identity verification message
During your rental period, you may receive a message from Stripe to perform an identity check. This is a security measure taken by the platform to verify that you are the owner of the associated account. The process is straightforward, just upload a copy of your ID on both sides to your Stripe account. Simply follow their instructions.
The steps to follow are as follows:
Log in to your Colette account.
Click on the "My Account" tab at the top right and then "Payment."
Click on "Connect to the billing profile" to access your Stripe account.
How to change my bank account information?
If your bank account information is no longer valid to receive your rents (new account, bank change, bank account error...), you can change your bank account information yourself.
The steps to follow are as follows:
Log in to your Colette account
Click on the "My Account" tab at the top right and then "Payment"
Click on "Connect to the billing profile" to access your Stripe account
Click on "Colette Club Transfer Details"
Click on "edit" (the small pen on the right)
